TRUZ ("True Friends") is a group of characters created by TREASURE in collaboration with LINE FRIENDS through the LINE FRIENDS CREATOR project.
Background[]
On September 1st, 2020, Line Friends released a teaser for the upcoming TREASURE STUDIO web series. Over the course of the series, Treasure members would work on creating new character IPs with the help of LINE FRIENDS staff. The new characters were revealed on November 10th, 2020 through the 11th episode of TREASURE STUDIO, TREASURE'S VERY OWN CHARACTERS!. The brand name TRUZ was chosen through a poll on LINE FRIENDS Twitter[1] and announced during the TREASURE STUDIO NOW. LIVE[2] on December 10th, 2020.
On April 29, 2021, TRUZ official merchandise was first launched. Both the medium and jumbo versions of the character dolls were sold out within a minute in South Korea and within an hour worldwide.[3] Line Friends has continued to release TRUZ merchandise.

CHILLI has unexpected charms that only those who know CHILLI know. Once CHILLI makes up its mind, dare not stop this passionate fellow, CHILLI can get super fired up with passion, and stay up all night to finish what needs to be done. By the way... Please keep in mind: CHILLI likes being complimented as 'cool' rather than 'cute'.
A bright, smiling, white rose, ROMY is a joyful kiddo who can lighten up the mood wherever it goes. Because ROMY always thinks on the bright side, you can hardly see ROMY with a long face. Trust me, once you see ROMY's killer smile and swift dance moves, I bet you'll instantly be in a good mood.
Blushing YOCHI is a small prince wearing a small crown. Always a little shy and timid, YOCHI's cheeks stay flushed in pink. When YOCHI is in a good mood, it can grow in size.
BONBON has a gift of turning a situation around. On lucky days, you can spot its face looking like a lovely heart, but on unlucky days, it can look like a scary skull. Regardless, BONBON always brings a smile to its friends faces with hilarious shenanigans.
MATETSU is an athlete, an awesome dancer, a multi-lingual, and a fashionista. Wow, MATETSU, you’ve got it all! With both hands in its hoodie, this friend does not like to sit still, ever.
LAWOO is a courageous lion, who can be a bit, let’s say… self-loving. You can often see LAWOO taking selfies or looking into the mirror while trimming its luscious mane. By the way… Rumor has it that under LAWOO’s gorgeous mane, there are endless treasures hidden deep inside…
HIKUN’s first impression might be a little cold, but don’t you worry. Once you get close, being best friends with HIKUN is a piece of cake! HIKUN’s numerous expressions will cheer you up anytime. From humorous ones to touchy-feely ones it is no doubt that Hikun is charming.
YE-DEE is a refreshing mint colored forest fairy. With such a cozy aura, YE-DEE seems like it can give the best cuddles EVER! Our dear friend YE-DEE is often spotted taking a walk in the forest or playing the guitar whenever it wants to clear up its mind.
SOM, who is as free as a cloud and sweet as candy, is armed with its unique cuteness and loveliness that makes everything sweet like honey.
RURU is a small and cute marshmallow! When in need of extra strength, RURU can clone itself an infinite number of times.
WOOPY is a fun little mischief who loves joking around with friends. Although WOOPY seems playful on the outside, WOOPY has a tender soul on the inside. This cutie-pie can easily burst into tears whenever it feels emotional.
The youngest, PODONG, wears a baby bonnet and its mouth is an infinite black hole. PODONG is a huge foodie with a giant appetite, so you can often spot it sucking in all the food before even tasting it. PODONG's baby-like cuteness makes everyone want to feed it!
